I am julie and I have been a photographer for 15 years. Initially, I began photography as a way to capture my own children. the department store studios just were not accommodating to my 3 high energy kiddos. yes, that was a million years ago .. lol. I never planned to fall in love with the camera, the beauty of natural light and the sense of creativity i discovered. I found myself being asked by friends to capture images of their children and there began my journey of storytelling.
so even though, they are now adults, i still want to continue bringing other families their own cherished memories. i believe The journey never truly ends as a photographer. So I find myself constantly refining my skills, editing techniques, and exploring my style.
i absolutely love being a photographer on the Mississippi gulf coast. It has everything from the small beach town of Bay St. Louis to the city feel of old town hattiesburg. not to mention the country fields in between.
i believe photographs should feel as beautiful decades from now as they do today. i am dedicated to getting dad’s and kids smiles so that every mama’s heart double beats when she walks by her decorated home of special memories. so remember, Whether it’s seniors, maternity, baby, or family photography, making that detailed session plan and finding the perfect location for your special moment will always be possible.
